What Is It on Canvas?

Art galleries often serve as places where contemporary thought takes visual form. The O Collection presents a focused body of mixed-media works by Andrii Chernovil, developed over more than a decade and shaped through global artistic experience — from the Middle East to the United States.

This collection introduces a quiet yet powerful visual language built around a single recurring element: O a black point embedded within each composition. Around this point, imagery unfolds. The works invite attention, pause, and personal interpretation.

The Artist’s Statement

“O" is a point that draws the viewer’s attention.Everything else appears around it.” Artist Andrii Chernovil

Overview of the Artwork Series

Each work in the O Collection is structured around a single graphic point a minimal element that fixes a moment of perception. The surrounding imagery emerges freely, shaped by gesture, memory, and intuition.

The artist works with the idea that attention itself is a creative force. Once the point appears within the composition, the painting enters a deeper philosophical space, where meaning is not imposed but discovered.

Each artwork is individually numbered. The numbering corresponds to a specific graphic element — the goal card embedded in the composition — and marks a precise moment of O.
